Our Story – A Dream Turned Reality
For Wayne “JR” and Sarah LaFlamme, opening their own auto repair shop in Westfield, MA wasn’t just a business decision—it was the realization of a lifelong dream.
JR’s passion for automotive repair started at a young age, helping his Uncle John in his home garage. That early experience sparked a career in the industry, leading him to earn an automotive degree and gain 25 years of experience working on cars and trucks. He gained expertise in both technical work and leadership. With a strong commitment to honesty and quality service, he set out to create a shop where customers could trust the work being done and feel confident in every repair decision.
Sarah, with a business degree from Bay Path University, always dreamed of owning a small business. For years, the couple searched for the perfect place to start their own shop—one where honesty and customer care would be the foundation. That dream became a reality when they purchased Trasko’s Garage at 33 Fairfield Ave, continuing a tradition of family-owned, community-focused auto repair.
